National Care Network
The SIMPD National Care Network is a program offered to SIMPD members intended to maximize the care and service our patients receive when traveling away from home. Participating members agree to care for each other's patients as if they were our own. If a patient experiences a problem when away from home, they will first call their home physician. If the home physician feels the patient needs to be seen, they will call a network physician to describe the situation. The covering physician will charge the patient fee-for-service.
